Hello everyone! I've always wanted to make a pikachu hat, so this was a really fun project XD.

I didn't use a pattern for this so it bulges in places it shouldn't...next time I'll find a pattern.

I realized I had the hat on backwards in the bottom left picture...but I really liked that picture so...enjoy anyways.

I used wire to make the ears stand up. Plus they are poseable.

hehe well Ill prob add a tail and the brown stripes of the back. Im always adamant about showing the main features on what I do. XD
But wow if this was ur very first hat you got some seeeeeriousssss talent! XD

thank you! and I like to go not so literal with my designs. I try to get the essence of the character without making it look like the character is sitting on my head. If done right though that can look really cool O.O

Hmmm I like your concept. Its simple and it conveys the point across. I think your ear flaps with the red blush is a very unique and amazing way to make it btw.
I wont do it like that to respect your awesomeness XD
But I like to add stuff that makes the character special, such as the "thunder" tail XD.
i love yours though!!! :D

I can't wait to see your hat with the thunder tail XD. really I like seeing how other's make their hats. Everyone has a style they like and this is just how I roll :iconrollingplz: It would be boring if everyone made them the same!

I am working on a Totoro and then on a Pikachu Xmas Stocking.
I finished a Yoshi one :) So those go first along with an Xmas hat. THEN Ill b able to do the Pikachu.
I gtta finish XMas stuff first before the season is over XD

i have so many things planned as well XD... and then I find something new and I go off and do that instead of everything else I have planned (just like what I'm doing now)....school takes up so much of my time T^T. and thank you! can't wait to see your christmas stuff!
